We are located in west-central Missouri where the tall grass prairie meets the Kansas plains.  Our roots in the cattle industry date back to

1955.  For nearly four decades we produced and developed a herd of

Polled Herefords that would become known as one of the top

herds in the country.  1991 marked the start of our Red Angus herd

which has been the sole focus of our attention ever since.

We were pioneers in the use of performance testing and artificial

insemination.  These practices continue today and are some of the tools

used to achieve our goal of producing reasonably moderate framed, pasture efficient cows with strong maternal traits & eye appeal.  Our herd consists of easy calving…….docile cattle that are fundamentally sound & perform while grazing fescue and endure the extreme weather conditions experienced here on the Missouri-Kansas border.  “Balanced & Proven Genetics” is the key to our operation.

Our bulls & replacement heifers are developed on pasture & bunk fed supplement by hand to prevent over conditioning, producing functional bulls and females that are ready to work.
